Join us for an evening of fun, learning, and socializing. The event will start with a lecture by SustBeerLab: “How sustainable is your beer? A presentation and discussion on beer sustainability”, with Barry Ness, an Associate Professor in Sustainability Science, Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies, (LUCSUS).
During this lecture, Barry will present sustainability related to beer production, especially craft beer. His presentation will focus on principles for defining both environmental and social beer sustainability, and how one can measure them. Furthermore, Barry will share highlights of the “experiments” he has been involved with over the past years to promote greater sustainability in the regional craft beer sector. There will be time for questions from the audience at the end of the lecture.
Then we will have “The Three Pillars Trivia: A Pub Quiz on Environmental, Social, and Economic Sustainability”, hosted by Framtidsjorden, a non-profit international organization that supports initiatives for development on a socially just and ecologically sustainable basis and they offer internship opportunities abroad.
