Delayed Midsummer Party | Sydskånska Nationen

In the end of June all Swedes are celebrating the long light days during the festivities called Midsummer. Since it is one of our most precious traditions we want to welcome international students and show you how we celebrate this tradition with a delayed midsummer party. We will teach you what we eat and drink, play and sing 
Hopefully in the end you will also think it is totally normal pretending being a frog while dancing around a pole!
We meet up 18.30 in the backyard of Sydskånska Nationen to get to know each other and the midsummer traditions
We will give you a small tasting of what is the most typical midsummer food but we encourage you to also bring your own snacks so that we can have a small picnic together when we are tired from all the midsummer singing and dancing
Afterwards we will continue the party at this semester’s first Svartklubben (Sydskånska’s very own hiphop and r’n’b club)!
PS. Bring your own drink of choice!
