Are you a student and interested in horses? Do you want to join a social club and meet like-minded and happy students? Join LARS, the best at horses but better at parties!
Lund's Academic Equestrian Society, LARS, is a bunch of happy, horse-loving students! Most of them are studying in Lund, but students from all over the Skåne region are very welcome. We are a social society where like-minded people can meet without having any requirements for our members other than that they should be interested in horses or interested in supporting our activities. Everyone is welcome! In addition to our own drop-in riding group at LCR, Lunds Civila Ryttarförening in northern Lund, and participation in student riding competitions both in Sweden and abroad, we go to various horse-related events, have parties, barbecue evenings, autumn and spring balls, go to clinics, theory lessons and lots of other fun!
Does that sound like something for you? On the first Monday of each month, we have LARS coffee in conjunction with drop-in riding. Whether you're an old or new LARSer, or you're just curious about who we are, you're welcome to chat with us over a cozy coffee in the barn.
