Effective Altruism is a global community trying to figure out how to improve the world by acting on available evidence. "Doing good better" means ethical, rational and quantitative inquiry: we examine which problems really should receive the most attention on a global scale, we evaluate which interventions have the most impact and we try to find out what research is needed now so that future generations shall thrive.
