Sydskånska is known as the nation where music matters. You notice this not least through our clubs and live performances. Our rotating club concept allows us to explore all sorts of genres, such as hip-hop, pop, disco and funk. Once a month we hold Osignat - our pub where unsigned bands get the chance to shine on stage.
Although Sydskånska is imbued with music, it is a nation with much more than that! Every Thursday, our premises are transformed into a cozy beer cellar at Torsdagspuben. On Fridays, Sydskånska opens up for the Friday Lunch, where a hearty lunch is served for a cheap price. For those who want to start the weekend early, the bar is also open. Every other Tuesday you can come and hang out at Kafé Matiné, Sydskånska's own home theater where pizza and light snacks are served. One Friday every month we welcome Lund's students to Bartini, a classy cocktail bar where our bar master offers imaginative drinks and good food.
In addition to our daily activities, Sydskånska Nation holds larger events every year, such as our own pompous ball Knävlingagillet and the big day-long party Skvalborg, Sydskånska's contribution to Lund's Walborg celebration. Two great events you don't want to miss!
Sydskånska has something for everyone. We are the little big nation and under our roof are all Southerners, no matter where you come from.
