Malmö Nation – Lund's best nation
Malmö Nation is characterized by approximately 90 civil servants and 600 functionaries who all work each semester
is involved in creating the special atmosphere and cohesion that we are very proud of
Malmö Nation. Our three watchwords are:

Many of our members come from Sweden's larger cities. We currently have over 3500 members, which makes us one of Lund's largest nations. In addition to this, we are absolutely the biggest when it comes to organizing parties. We have had performances from artists such as: Avicii, Kygo, Dada Life, Oskar Linnros, Otto Knows,, John Newman, Thomas Stenström, Myra Granberg, Icona Pop and many more!
We always like to push the boundaries of what is possible for a nation to accomplish. During the spring term 2022, we carried out our third Carnival in the nation - the Maxivalen. During this weekend we welcome 6 people who were able to take part in fantastic performances by, among others, Myra Granberg, Thomas Stenström and Icona Pop!
Before the start of each semester, we welcome our new novices who choose to enroll at Malmö Nation with a fantastic Novice period. This includes a Novischpub where fantastic burgers are served and good drinks to go with it. Furthermore, a Novice Day is held, which is a full day where you and your novice group can take part in several different activities and competitions, where we end the evening down at our dear nightclub Casanova. The period ends with the grand Novischfest, which takes place in the autumn at AF-Borgen. In addition to this being an incredibly fun way to enter student life in Lund, during this period you will create memories and friends for life!
As a member of Malmö Nation, you are welcome to get involved in all our committees. In addition, we are the ONLY nation in Lund that offers free entry to our nightclubs for all of our members.
Food committees such as Lunch (Monday-Friday), Mangos (Wednesday dinner), Easy Levin (Pub every other Friday), Brunch (Saturday), Upper East (luxurious Saturday dinner) and Eventeriet (Luxury fine dining)
Party Committee: Casanova, Sex Mastery/House Mastery, Party Mastery and Marshal. Creative committees such as the Choir, the Chapel (our own house band), Photo and film, the DJ committee, Natu (arranges special entertainment events and cultural activities), the Novischeriet, the Sports Committee, Graphics and IT.
In addition to this, we also organize annual events such as the Novischfesten every semester, the Wise Book, the Spring Ball, the Golf competition, the Valborgsyran on Last April, the First May lunch, Ålagille and a Last November lunch. As a member, you are welcome to either participate or help organize these activities.
In addition to commitment, we also offer housing for students. Malmö Nation's Housing comprises approx. 260 rooms in central Lund with fast internet connection and low rents. We have a total of 4 residential buildings owned by the nation. A number of our rooms and apartments have also undergone a thorough renovation in recent years. Living at our nation is a unique opportunity to take part in our community and make friends for life!
