Welcome to Helsingkrona! Our motto is "the nation for everyone"! Here you will find Lund's largest community, and we are proud to be able to offer something to suit everyone, whether it's friends, food, training or partying! Helsingkrona nation is simply characterized by a wide range of committees and activities with an open and welcoming atmosphere.
At Helsingkrona we have several committees that work to fill your years in Lund with memories and fun activities. Do you like to move a lot? Our Sports Committee offers everything from group training to climbing to skating, which are open to everyone to join. We also have a football team, FC Helsingkrona, where we have both a women's team and a men's team that always welcomes new players. In addition, we have a handball team AND a volleyball team for those who are interested.
Then there are, among others, our NATU committee and Novischeri who work to make both new and old members feel at home here. You can also let your creative side take place by sitting on the editorial board of our magazine Helsingkroniten or photographing a club, or by speculating with Helsingkronaspexet! Do you think there is something missing from the offer? Come up with suggestions for events you think would be a success, the possibilities are endless here at Helsingkrona!
We are also proud of our restaurant business that we run. Every week we offer Kronalunchen on Mondays and Tuesdays, Elsas AW and Winbladhs restaurant on Wednesday nights, Fredmans pub & bar and sittings on Fridays and our brunch Rise n' Shine on Saturdays. Fridays mean not only Fredmans but also Schlagernatt, Helsingkrona's legendary and popular nightclub!
Besides visiting us, you can also work at Helsingkrona! Working at Helsingkrona always means good company, free food and THANK YOU PARTIES! Once a month we organize a thank you party for our workers, a theme party where you can party in true HB style!
In addition to this, Helsingkrona nation organizes a number of larger parties alongside our regular activities. In the fall we have our Novice period and then a couple of weeks later we kick off the fall with our ball Snörsjöaorden which takes place the first weekend in October every year! During the spring we instead organize one of the largest Walpurgis events in Lund, SUNWING! Nothing you want to miss!
Helsingkronagården is the nation's property, and consists of three buildings, the House, the Tower and the Villa, which house approximately 400 happy students!
For us as a nation, the most important thing is that you who visit us have fun and find friends for life! It doesn't matter who you are, come and hang out, become a Helsingkronite, we promise it will be fun!
