Comradeship, Fellowship, Foolishness and Song
Music is the soul that gives life to the Blekinge nation. From live gigs and kareoke pubs to the chat around the table at our beer cafe. At the heart of this is our live scene and club Indigo where Silvana Imam, Makthaverskan, Junior Brielle, Timbuktu and even Broder Daniel have gigged. Indigo also has a sister, dance-friendly club Historiepoparna where we let loose to the best pop from the 60's onwards!
But what is a nation without a pub? Nothing and that's why we have two! At Onsdagspuben we offer awesome burgers and a wide range of great beer, serving everything from classics to favourites from Bledingska microbreweries and Belgian finest. Another place to enjoy our selection is Sonja's Beer Café, which opens its doors every Friday with fresh home-cooked food, great atmosphere and great events!
Fridays also mean sitting and that is where Blekingska excels. Our skilled chefs can prepare good food for all food preferences, important to us is that everyone in the party can enjoy the evening. The food is of high quality and evenings spent with us are always remembered.
In addition, we have a fantastic Sunday brunch, a choir, the national newspaper Herulens Haerold, an active sports committee that holds our legendary GT yoga. Last but not least, the Blekinge Nation is building a new building at 14-16 Ole Römers Road with brand new housing and business facilities. Hope to see you on the East this fall!
