Music is the soul that brings Blekingska Nation to life, and its heart lies in our live stage.
Over the years, bands such as Svart Ridå, The Cardigans, Terra, Timbuktu and even Broder Daniel have played here. And the music doesn’t stop when the last song fades out, it lives on in the pub quizzes, in the buzz around the lunch tables, and in conversations long after the night should have ended.
When Friday comes around, we turn up the volume and open the doors to either Club Indigowhere indie lovers can get their fix, or Club History Poparn, where we dance our way through pop history from the 60s onwards.
At Blekingska, we take food just as seriously as music. Twice a week, we host our pubs. Wednesday Pub always waiting for awesome burgers, while Sonja's Saturday Pub <font dir="auto" style="vertical-align: inherit;">offers something new every week. In the wide beer selection you will find everything from familiar classics to fine Belgian beers.</font>
Still hungry? We also serve Thursday lunch and Sunday brunch, and on Fridays we host booked formal dinners (sittningar) , where our chefs prepare amazing three-course meals for up to two hundred guests.
In addition to all this, we have a choir, our nation newspaper The Herulian Harold and a sports committee that maintains our mythical GT yoga. <font dir="auto" style="vertical-align: inherit;" class="">So whether you want to get involved, meet new people, try something new, or simply have a great time, there’s plenty to do.</font>
