Corpus Medicum

Corpus Medicum is the body for all educations at the Faculty of Medicine in Lund. We manage the work from the student's side by monitoring and trying to improve the courses and the study climate. This takes place through representation all the way down from individual course level up to faculty management. The work is carried out by committed students with an interest in their education and its development.

The business is centered around three sections, each of which represents a couple of different courses. During the autumn, all sections jointly organize the Corbalen in AF-borgen, which is one of the largest frock sittings in the Nordics. During the spring, the labor market day Corpus Laborans is also held, which is aimed at all students at the Faculty of Medicine. 

Via the sections, an immense range of education-related and social activities is also offered to its members. If you want to know more about what each section has to offer, just read more about them below! 

The Corpus Medicum consists of the three sections:

Medical Association (MF) – the section for audiology, biomedicine, speech therapy, medical students, and students at the Master of public health.

South Swedish Physiotherapy Institute (SSGI) - the section for physiotherapist students and students at the Master of Sports Science.

Health Sciences Student Association (VÅVS) - the section for Occupational Therapists, Nurses, X-ray Nurses, the Midwifery Programme, Basic Year in Health Sciences and specialist training.
