Skavlan and Lund – Student evening with Fredrik Skavlan

The first Student Evening of the year is just around the corner and none other than Sweden's favorite Norwegian, Fredrik Skavlan, will be attending.

As a generation, we have grown up with his Norwegian-sounding Swedish in prime time on SVT. Between 2009 and 2021, Skavlan became synonymous with Nordic talk shows as guests from all over the world passed through his armchairs. Last year, he made a comeback on Swedish TV after a four-year break and, with the program “Skavlan and Sweden,” has managed to create debate across the country. Thanks to the program, discussions have been heated in both lunchrooms and on culture pages about everything from beauty ideals to infidelity, military buildup and the ultra-rich.

On Wednesday, February 4, the roles are reversed. In the one-off show “Skavlan and Lund”, it is Skavlan’s turn to be questioned. How did he end up in Sweden? Who is the most memorable guest? Have there been any questions he has refrained from asking?
