CONCERT: THE SECRET CLUB | South Scania Nation

September 21, 2023 @ 20:00 AM - 22:00

215 SEK
-ENGLISH BELOW-
Sydskånska Nationen can proudly present a concert with the SECRET CLUB!
Hemliga Klubben consists of the songwriters Adéle Cechal, Mattias Jonsson and Gustav 'Påsen' Gällhagen. The music describes them as playful, uplifting and soulful, but there is also room for emotional, personal lyrics. The band are basically songwriters and, in addition to their own music, have written songs for, among others, Myra Granberg, Felicia Takman, Petter and Molly Sandén.
The creative trio met in a studio in autumn 2017 and already in January 2018 the band was founded. Since then, they have managed to release a number of singles, a debut album and have been out playing with, among others, Thomas Stenström and The Swedish Bear Tribe. The debut album "Tills alla gålmet oss" was praised by Jan Gradvall and gave the band a nomination as newcomer of the year in the 2021 Rockbjörnen.
During the fall of 2022, Hemliga Klubben has played a series of gigs around Sweden. However, the tour finale at the Södra Teatern in Stockholm came to an abrupt end after only a few songs due to the risk of the dance floor collapsing when the band played the chorus of the new single. "We accidentally broke Södra, I think," says singer Mattias Jonsson.
The new single "I don't want to be your friend" is, according to the band, a flirty song for the friend you are secretly in love with, dressed in a raw, punk sound. The single, which will be their first release on Playground Music, will lead up to an EP to be released in spring 2023.
