Helsingkronaspexet presents Granfejden or: He doesn't even know what slonke means!
It's time for Helsingkronaspexet to present this semester's spex: The Granfejden or He doesn't even know what slonke means!
The year is 1985, we are in the Gothenburg archipelago, on the islands of Styrsö and Donsö. It is Easter time and the annual bonfire competition is in full swing. The rules are simple, whoever has the biggest bonfire wins. Anything is allowed: houses, boats and fir trees. Donsö's team, led by Märta Eklund, has won three years in a row. But now Fritiof Johnsson, leader of Styrsö's team, is going to take the competition by storm! He hires the legendary Easter burner Örjan Visman and together they will finally win this glorious competition. It's teenagers, intrigue, love, Shakespearean drama and a lot of fir trees. Who will manage to steal the most fir trees to get the biggest Easter bonfire? What does slonke really mean? And how do you guard a bridge(s)? You will get answers to all this and more in Helsingkronaspexet's re-enactment of Granfejden or He Doesn't Even Know What Slonke Means!
The performances take place on 13/11, 14/11 and 15/11. The door opens half an hour before the performance starts. You don't want to miss this!

The rules are simple: the person with the biggest bonfire wins. Anything goes: houses, boats, and pine trees. Donsö's team, led by Märta Eklund, has won three years in a row. But now, Fritiof Johnsson, leader of Styrsö's team, is determined to take the competition by storm! He hires the legendary Easter bonfire maker Örjan Visman, and together they aim to finally win this prestigious contest.
There are teenagers, intrigues, love, Shakespearean drama, and a whole lot of pine trees. Who will manage to steal the most trees to build the biggest Easter bonfire? What does slonke really mean? And how do you guard a brother(s)? All this and more will be revealed in Helsingkrona Spex's re-production of Granfejden or He Doesn't Even Know What Slonke Means!
