Alte Kamereren
Alte Kamereren is Lund's most festive student orchestra, founded in 1964!
We have a place for you in the orchestra if you are a student/special member of AF, play wind instruments, banjo, percussion or enjoy dancing. In the latter case, you are qualified for our ballet, the fantastic Chamber Ballet. In addition to the Chamber Ballet, there is the opportunity to swing your legs in the men's ballet, the trombone ballet or in the orchestra's moves during the songs. We can't stand still when we play!
The Alte Kamereren play in red, black and medal-sounding uniforms at parties, inaugurations, students, weddings, baluns - whenever a pompous and spiffy entertainment is desired. When we don't have gigs, we have nice rehearsals and parties in our rehearsal room Hålan, which has been owned by the orchestra since the 70s. The den holds a special place in the hearts of all cameramen and is decorated in red and black, full of gadgets and memorabilia from decades past.
We are also known abroad through student orchestra festivals, the Baltic Sea Festival, etc., even world-famous in Germany, where we go on tour for ten days every summer.
